Turner Gill is the head coach of the Buffalo Bulls college football team at the University of Buffalo. Only one of six African American coaches in the NCAA Division 1-A, Gill lead the University of Nebraska to three national championship as an assistant.

Brief Biography
Getting his start in coaching as an assistant graduate at the University of Nebraska, Gill Turner moved on to coach North Texas University and then Southern Methodist University. He was given his first opportunity at a division I school in 1992, when he was offered to be an assistant back at the University of Nebraska. Gill did not get his first head coaching job until 2006, when the University of Buffalo let preceding coach Jim Hofher go. In his first two season as the coach of the Bulls, Gill has gone 7-17.
