Turkey Warns U.S.: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has made it clear that Turkey will use military force against Kurdish rebels in northern Iraq, despite U.S. calls for restraint. U.S.-Turkey relations have been strained since the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Armenian Genocide Resolution on October 10, 2007 accusing the Ottoman Turks of genocide against Armenians during World War I.
