Tuki Brando

Tuki Brando was born in 1990 in Tahiti, French Polynesia. Brando is the son of Cheyenne Brando and Dag Drollet and also the grandson of Marlon Brando (a famous Hollywood Actor). Tuki Brando is a model who is now based in Milan, Italy and has modeled frequently for Versace.

Family tragedy has surrounded much of Tuki Brando's life. Tuki's father was murdered by his uncle Christian Brando before Tuki was even born. Cheyenne Brando had confessed to brother Christian Brando who she was really close to that Dag Drollet had been physically abusing her. This was never substantiated but soon after Christian Brando shot Dag Drollet dead. Cheyenne Brando, Tuki's mother was formally diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Custody of Tuki subsequently was given to Cheyenne Brando's mother and Marlon Brando's third wife Tarita Teriipia. This meant Tuki Brando spent much of his childhood living in Tahiti, French Polynesia. Cheyenne Brando committed suicide by hanging herself when aged 25 on April 16, 1995. This meant Tuki Brando had lost both of his parents by the age of 5.

When Marlon Brando died in 2004 it was anticipated that Tuki Brando would be a beneficiary of part of the will. But Marlon Brando put no provision in the will for Tuki Brando. Tuki was omitted from the $20 million will without any explanation. Since 2006 (when Tuki Brando was 16) he has had a career as a fashion model. In February, 2007, Tuki Brando appeared in L'Uomo Vogue, the Italian edition of Vogue. Tuki featured on the cover and also inside the magazine. In late 2007 Tuki was named as "face of the Versace 2007 Fall men's campaign".
