Troy Aikman is a former professional football player. As the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys he won three Super Bowls. Currently he is a television sportscaster for the NFL on FOX. Outside of football, Aikman has founded the Troy Aikman Foundation, which provides support for children across America, and is co-owner of Hall of Fame Racing, a NASCAR team.

Aikman was a member of the Dallas Cowboys football team for 12 years, from 1989 through the 2000 season. As the quarterback, he led the Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories, two of which were back to back. His other accomplishments include making six Pro Bowl appearances. Aikman retired from professional football in 2001 and began working for FOX Sports the very same year.

In January, 2009, a federal investigation revealed that Aikman had received special transportation using federal marshals that was set up by Joseph Band, an attorney who moonlighted with FOX sports.
