  • Troy Aikman is a former professional football player. As the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys he won three Super Bowls. Currently he is a television sportscaster for the NFL on FOX. Outside of football, Aikman founded the Troy Aikman Foundation, which provides support for children across America, and is co-owner of Hall of Fame Racing, a NASCAR team.

    In February of 2009, Aikman announced that he had passed his remaining classes at UCLA and was set to graduate with a bachelor's degree in sociology in June 2009. This comes 20 years after he left the college to join the NFL.ESPN.com: Aikman Finally Graduating From College

  • Career Highlights

    He was a member of the Dallas Cowboys for 12 years, from 1989 through the 2000 season. As the quarterback he led the Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories, two of which were back to back. Other remarkable accomplishments include six Pro Bowl appearances, receiving countless awards, and setting many team records. He retired from professional football in 2001 and began working for FOX Sports the very same year.
  • U.S. Marshal Controversy

    In January, 2009, a federal investigation revealed that Aikman had received special transportation using federal marhsals that was set up by Joseph Band, an attorney who moonlighted with FOX sports.
