I live in Oklahoma and I am embarrased by the troopers actions. He was in route to a call on a stolen vehicle and if you watch the entire dash cam video and the video from the cell phone you conclude this is an officer with an ego problem. Many Oklahomans feel he needs more than just a slap on the wrist. The paramedic that got out of the back was in charge of the unit and stated several times they were transporting a patient and asked the trooper to follow them and finish at the hospital. There is only the troopers statment about the hand gesture. Everything else is on camera. Any reasonable person will see this trooper was out of control. I am ashamed the DA did nothing. It is illegal in Oklahoma to abuse an ambulance employee but the trooper was not even charged with that. In regards to the photo of the bruise on the troopers arm, after watching the video several times, I beleive he injured himself later to get some sympathy and support on his side.
