In December of 2007, animal rights activist group the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) unveiled their "Trollsen Twins" advertising campaign. The campaign targeted former child stars the Olsen Twins (Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen) for wearing fur in addition to the use of fur in their fashion line.
