Tristan Prettyman is a singer-songwriter, surfer, and former model.
After given a cassette of Ani DiFranco's Puddle Dive album at the age of 15, Prettyman started to consider pursuing a music career.
She played in various San Diego clubs before embarking on a tour with future boyfriend Jason Mraz, which introduced her music to a wider audience.
Shortly after her twenty-third birthday in 2005, her first album, aptly titled t w e n t y t h r e e, was released, featuring the singles "Love Love Love" and a duet with Mraz, "Shy That Way."
Her second album, Hello, was released in 2008, debuting at #27 on the Billboard 200.
