Trista Rehn-Sutter is an American reality television star. She has appeared in numerous reality shows, most notably as runner-up on the original season of ABC's The Bachelor, and star of the original season of The Bachelorette.
Career Highlights
Rehn-Sutter grew up in Chesterfield, MO. She attended Indiana University and then transferred to the University of Miami where she graduated with a master's degree in physical therapy. While living in Miami following graduation, she worked on the training staff of the Miami Heat, as well as a dancer for the team. In 2002, Rehn-Sutter was one of 25 women competing for Alex Michel on the original season of The Bachelor. She made it all the way to the last round before being passed over for Amanda Marsh. However, Rehn-Sutter's popularity led ABC to produce a spin-off called The Bachelorette, and she selected Ryan Sutter. The two were married in December of 2003 in a season finale that drew over 26 million viewers. The couple recently had their first child, a boy named Maxwell, in July of 2007. She has since competed in two other reality shows: Fear Factor and Dancing with the Stars. In 2003, she was selected as one of the Maxim magazine's 'Hot 100 Women'.
