Trism is a puzzle game developed by Demiforce exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It can be purchased for $4.99 on Apple’s App Store.
In a similar vein to titles such as Bejeweled and Hexic, players must clear each stage by matching groups of at least three identically colored shapes until there aren’t any left; this is accomplished by directly interacting with the touch screen. The iPhone’s integrated accelerometer is used to manipulate the direction in which the trisms are going to fall. This adds another layer of strategy altogether as players can either gain an edge or become disadvantaged as a result of how they choose to orient the device.Mobile Magazine: Trism iPhone Game Uses Touch, Tilt Sensor (February 29, 2008)
