  • Trick-Trick is a Detroit-based rapper and music producer who is best known for helping to produce rap superstar Eminem's first single. His second studio album, The Villian, was released on November 11, 2008 and caused a firestorm of controversy for its explicit anti-gay lyrics.

    On March 16, 2009, new media reported that Trick-Trick had been involved in a shooting in Chicago and had been hospitalized.     Chicago newspapers reported on March 16, 2009, that Trick-Trick had been injured in a shooting incident in Chicago. A man who said he was Trick-Trick denied on radio that he was involved in the shooting. He said he hadn't left the house since March 14 and the media reports were inaccurate.     Trick-Trick raised controversy with his second album, The Villian, which has explicit anti-gay lyrics. On the album, Trick-Trick attacks famous homosexuals including Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O'Donnell and raps about shooting a gay man who he says "ain’t worth lettin’ live".
