• Career

  At the age of 17, Tricia Helfer was discovered by a modeling scout in Canada while waiting in line for a movie. In 1992, she won the Supermodel of the World contest and used that success to sign a modeling contract with the prestigious Elite Model Management agency. She would appear in magazines such as Elle, Vogue, and Marie Claire. After proving herself in the modeling world, she decided to focus her attention on acting. In 2002, Helfer moved to Los Angeles and quickly landed high profile acting roles on such shows as CSI and the Showtime television series Jeremiah.
