  • Early Career

    Daley began his career with the Saulte Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League in 1999. He was then drafted 43rd overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2002 NHL Draft. In his last season with the Greyhounds, Daley was the subject of a racial slur used by owner, coach and general manager John Vanbiesbrouck. Vanbiesbrouck immediately admitted his fault, resigned from the team and sold his ownership.
  • Recent Years

    After making his NHL debut with the Stars in 2003, he split his first professional season between the Stars and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Utah Grizzlies. Daley returned to the AHL during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, playing for the Hamilton Bulldogs. He rejoined the Stars after the lockout, earning a full roster spot on the team.
