Trevor Ariza is a NBA small forward for the Houston Rockets. He is widely regarded in the NBA For his excellent defensive skills and his versatility.
Ariza was selected as the 14th pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the New York Kincks. During his rookie year, he started 12 games out of 80 games played. In 2006, we was traded to the Orlando Magic. Then, in 2007 he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Early Life
Trevor Anthony Ariza was born in Miami, Florida on June 30, 1985. His family moved to Los Angeles, and Ariza attended Westchester High School. He helped the Westchester to the CIF titles during the junior and senior seasons. On January 31 2005, his number 4 jersey was retired by the Westchester High School.
After high school, we went to the UCLA for a season and earned All-pac-10 Freshman Team honors. During the college year, he averaged 11.6 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game and 1.7 steals per game. [1]
Pro Career
Ariza was selected as the 43rd pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks (43rd overall). He eventually earned his way into the starting lineup of the Knicks.
In 2006, he was traded to the Orlando Magic with Anfernee Hardaway for shooting guard Steve Francis.
In 2007, he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for forwards Brian Cook and Maurice Evans.
During the 2009 NBA Finals, Ariza was the key player for the Los Angeles Lakers in winning their 15th championship. Despite this, the Lakers are unable to re-sign him.
