Early Life
Trever Douglas Miller was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 29, 1973. In 1991, Miller was selected by the Detroit Tigers with the 41st pick in the Major League Baseball amateur draft.
Pro Career
On September 4, 1996, Miller made his MLB debut with the Detroit Tigers. In his first season, he appeared in five games and compiled a 9.18 earned run average. Later that year he was traded to the Houston Astros. He has played for several teams throughout his career, including the Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays and Houston Astros. In 2007, Miller appeared in 76 games and compiled a 4.86 earned run average with 1 save. In 2008, he was signed by the Tampa Bay Rays.
