    During his junior season at Escambia High School in 2007, Richardson recorded 1,490 yards and 15 touchdowns, earning a Class 5A third team all-state selection. His best game when he recorded 407 yards, earning Richardson the nickname "Mr. 407." Despite Escambia finishing with only a 5-5 record in 2008, Richardson's stats improved, totaling 211 carries for a total of 1,966 yards, including topping his career-best rushing yards in a game when he recorded 419 in a September 2008 game.ESPN.com: Trent Richardson
