Tremors

Tremors is a comedic monster film about a small, desert town's fight against massive worm-like creatures. The film has spawned the sequels Tremors 2: Aftershocks, Tremors 3: Back to Perfection, Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, as well as the television show Tremors: The Series.

Tremors was released on January 19, 1990 and grossed $3,731,520 opening weekend at the box office. The critics gave Tremors fairly high reviews for the most part.

Earl Basset and Valentine McKee discover their tiny desert town, Perfection, Nevada, is infested with worm like creatures that live underground and come out when they feel vibration and attack anything near them. Basset and McKee team up with Burt and Heather Gummer in a race to destroy the creatures before they destroy the town.

In the B-movie tradition of "The Giant Slug-Like Monsters from Outer Space who Ate Everything" comes "Tremors", a hilarious homage to the drive-in horror movies of yore that succeeds in all the ways that other pretenders (Eight Legged Freaks) failed so miserably. — eFilmCritic.com
