The Transformers characters are robots that can reshape themselves into machines or various other objects. The toys have appeared in an animated series, have been the product of a successful toy line, a series of comic books and an animated film in the 1980s. The 2007 live-action film was directed by Michael Bay, and was released on July 2. the film stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Jon Voight.

First developed in 1984, Transformers are toy aliens created by Hasbro Toys. Soon becoming a franchise, Transformers was marketed into an animated series, films, and apparel. In 2007, Transformers was adapted into a full-length live-action feature film, starring Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf.
