  • Plot Summary

    The wealthy and corrupt Duke brothers (Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche) make a bet as to whether a street hustler and businessman could succeed if their roles were reversed. They strip Wall Street trader Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd) of his wealth and promote impoverished con man Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy) into the upper crust of society. Both men struggle to adjust to their new roles and when they discover the Duke brothers' scheme, they team up to get revenge.
