• Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan plays a caricature of himself, Tracy Jordan, on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock. Morgan is also an accomplished stand-up comedian, host and sketch actor.

  TMZ.com reported that Morgan's Manhattan Trump Plaza apartment caught fire on February 18, 2009, as a result of a faulty light bulb in his fish tank. The fire was said to have done extensive damage.   Morgan was a cast member of the NBC television program Saturday Night Live from 1996-2003. Some of his famous impressions include Mike Tyson, Star Jones Reynolds and Oprah Winfrey. He later reprized his rendition of Winfrey on an episode of 30 Rock. After Saturday Night Live, Morgan made an unsuccessful attempt at his own television sitcom entitled The Tracy Morgan Show.

• The Ankle Bracelet

  Morgan was arrested for drunken driving on December 2, 2005, and again on November 28, 2006. Part of his parole for the repeat offenses was to wear a state required ankle bracelet that would constantly monitor his blood alcohol level. He wore the bracelet for 90 days, and had the system detected liquor, Morgan could have faced jail time. Morgan wore the device without incident and later 30 Rock made reference to it when his character Tracy Jordan was forced to wear a similar bracelet.
