TMZ.com reported that Morgan's Manhattan Trump Plaza apartment caught fire on February 18, 2009, as a result of a faulty light bulb in his fish tank. The fire was said to have done extensive damage. Morgan was a cast member of the NBC television program Saturday Night Live from 1996-2003. Some of his famous impressions include Mike Tyson, Star Jones Reynolds and Oprah Winfrey. He later reprized his rendition of Winfrey on an episode of 30 Rock. Morgan was arrested for drunken driving on December 2, 2005, and again on November 28, 2006. Part of his parole for the repeat offenses was to wear a state required ankle bracelet that would constantly monitor his blood alcohol level. He wore the bracelet for 90 days, and had the system detected liquor, Morgan could have faced jail time.
