Tracy Jordan is an unpredictable character on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock played by actor Tracy Morgan. Jordan was a highly paid action star who, after battling mental illness and alcoholism, fell on hard times and ended up on The Girly Show. He and his two body guards, Grizz and Dot com, add their own unique take on the sketch show as Jordan tries to claw his way back to super stardom.

Tracy Morgan who plays the character Tracy Jordan like his sitcom persona Morgan had previous success as an actor and comedian on the NBC sketch show Saturday Night Live. After he left the show and his own sitcom was canceled, Morgan fell on hard times and was arrested twice for driving while intoxicated. Jordan and Morgan both married and divorced their high school sweet hearts, as well as had to wear state mandated ankle bracelets that monitored their blood alcohol level as part of their respective paroles.
