Track pants come in various styles and material. A traditional track pant is light weight in design, and are used practically as gear to maintain warmth in normal weather. In competitive events they are removed before performance, and are also used to keep the muscles worn after an event. Some high performance track pants have a snap design which unlocks, and can be removed by simply pulling away the fabric away from the body, without lifting the legs out. Track pants have become a popular fashion item in everyday society, providing a combination of style and comfort. Often times track pants are sold with a matching track jacket, creating a sports suit.-
