According to the National Enquirer, Track Palin, the eldest son of Alaska Governor and Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, was involved in a "notorious local vandalism incident" in his teens. The incident allegedly refers to a 2005 crime in which 44 school buses in the Wasilla area had their tires slashed and windows broken.

The Alleged Incident
Newspaper accounts of the vandalism incident cite four individuals as having been arrested, although three of them were under 18 and thus did not have their names released. The youngest individual involved, a 16-year-old male, was, according to reports, Track Palin. Bloggers have also theorized that Mike Wooten, the state trooper at the center of a state investigation into Sarah Palin's firing of Alaska Commissioner of Public Safety, was involved in the arrest. -
