Tracey Ullman is a British actress, comedienne, singer, and dancer who burst onto the scene in 1987 with her hit television show The Tracey Ullman Show. Her show, which aired on FOX, featured sketch comedy, musical numbers and animated segments, the latter of which spun off into another successful show, The Simpsons.
Career Highlights
The Tracey Ullman Show lasted until 1990, at which point Ullman began producing shows for HBO such as Tracey Takes On in 1996.
On the big screen, Ullman has appeared in the films I Love You to Death (1990), Robin Hood Men in Tights (1993), Woody Allen's Small Time Crooks (2000), John Water's A Dirty Shame (2004) and Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (2005). In 2008, Ullman starred in the Showtime comedy series, Tracey Ullman's State of the Union.
