Toyland is an Academy Award-nominated live action short film about a mother in 1942 Germany who convinces her young son that their Jewish neighbors are going to Toyland when they are taken away to concentration camps. The lie sets in motion events which threaten to destroy her family. The 14-minute short won an Oscar in the category of Best Live Action Short Film.Academy Awards: Nominee: Toyland
