Tovah Collins

Tovah Collins is one of the contestants on Step It Up And Dance where twelve dancers compete against each other in a variety of dance routines. The last dancer standing will receive a $100,000 grand prize.

Collins was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of six she began her dance training with the Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center. After her early training she went on to study with the San Francisco Ballet. She also studied ballet with Suzanne Farrell and the Dance Theater of Harlem, and graduated from Chicago Waldorf School. Collins joined the Universoul Circus where she performed ballet and aerial work. Collins is also a member of the Elesta Dance Company in Chicago. She is perfecting a signature move which she brands "hipllet", a combination of hip-hop and ballet.
