Geo Beach, has made his home in Homer, Alaska for more that 25 years. Beach is originally from the coast of New England. Since he moved to Alaska he has held a wide variety of jobs to support himself so he could write. He has been a medic, fireman, logger, a commercial fisherman and more. Beach is an award winning writer and commentator. He was voted 2007 Best Columnist for his Anchorage Daily News column, “Top O’th Planet”. -
