Australian parents were charged on Thursday, June 19, 2008, for the deaths of their 18-month-old twins. The bodies of the twins were found decomposing by their 11-year-old sister. The twins were starved to death. Names of the twins and the parents were not released according to Australian law.

The twins' deaths were actually reported to police after their 11-year-old sister found their bodies on Monday, June 16, 2008. Their 30-year-old mother was sent to Brisbane Women's Prison while their 28-year-old father was sent to Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre. Both are expected to appear in court in August of 2008
