HP Blackbird 002

HP is counting on the look of the Blackbird, as well as its specifically-geared gamer capability, to change the way consumers view the PC. One area of innovation was to design the framework to allow for the core unit to sit slightly above the base of an aluminum foot, allowing for it to stay cool with more space for additional ventilation slots. Furthermore, it features a maintenance-free liquid cooling system which draws heat away from the CPU and motherboard. The side panels can be easily removed, to allow the user to remove and install components without the use of tools. It also includes 1.1 kilowatts of power, and features five hard drive bays: one for the system drive and four additional with up to 4 TB of storage. All of this enhanced functionality is designed to speed up game play and other software operation.
