Midnight Sun
Stephenie Meyer posted this on her website on September 9, 2009:
"It has come to my attention through several concerned emails that many popular websites like MySpace and Facebook are displaying ads offering a chance to win Midnight Sun. This is a hoax. I would advise against giving out any personal information or even clicking on the links."

Stephenie Meyer Oprah Winfrey
"You know I've been doing the hermit thing this last year, in so far as media is concerned, and I'm not changing that now, but I am making an exception. I'm doing this for a good reason: I am so pleased and amazed and thrilled with what Chris Weitz has done with New Moon that I want to talk about it, and to show my support for him. And since I'm only doing one interview, better make it big. Really big."http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/

Twilight
Twilight author Stephenie Meyer has said in interviews that she drew inspiration for each of her Twilight books from classical literature.
Twilight - "Pride & Prejudice", in that Bella and Edward loosely resembled Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy.
New Moon - "Romeo and Juliet", in that Bella and Edward nearly emulated the deaths of the famous lovers.
Eclipse - "Wuthering Heights"
Breaking Dawn - "A Midsummer Night's Dream"http://www.examiner.com/x-11613-Books-on-Film-Examiner~y2009m5d24-Stephenie-Meyers-classical-inspirations-for-Twilight-saga

Stephenie Meyer's The Host Movie
Earth has been invaded by alien creatures called "souls" who use human bodies as hosts. However, sometimes, the host body fights back, as is the case with Melanie Stryder. Melanie fights desperately for control of her mind and body when she is invaded by a soul called "Wanderer".
Wanderer can feel Melanie's emotions and has dreams about Melanie's life. She sees and feels Melanie's need to find out what happened to Jared, the man she loves, and to her little brother, Jamie. Wanderer begins to feels what Melanie felt towards Jared and Jamie, and becomes compelled to find them. Wanderer and Melanie become allies when they start being hunted by another soul that has become suspicious of Wanderer. They set out on a journey to find Melanie's brother Jamie, and the man they both love, Jared.
Will they find Jared and Jamie alive? Have they been invaded by souls? And if they do find them, will Jared accept Melanie, knowing that she is being possessed by an alien creature? Will he be able to see that Melanie is still alive inside?
