Europa Universalis: Rome is a very simple, but graphically beautiful, turn based strategy game in the style of Civilization IV. Its roots can be traced back to classic board games like Risk and Stratego. The Europa Universalis series of games are known for their historical accuracy and game content, providing hallmark historical battles. The series itself has progressed from the year 1492 to the turn of the current century. Although not as complex as the Civilization series, with in-depth historical accuracy and simplistic gameplay, the game is easy to learn and may teach you a thing or two about history. You will fight, negotiate or trade with other characters to advance your abilities and unite the Mediterranean World. Each province will produce goods which can then be traded with neighbors or within your land. This is very important to the game as it means certain units can only be produced in certain places. For example, if you do not have wood, there can be no archers or boats.

In Side Meier's Alpha Centauri, the player colonizes an alien planet, builds cities, researches technology and establishes civilizations. Once cities are established, players can then build up military and technology. Using the game's "design workshop," players can customize their units in numerous ways. Variables such as weapons, chassis and special abilities are combined to form custom tailored units for whatever the situation calls for. Arc Rise Fantasia

Even if L'Arc is the main character in Arc Rise Fantasia, players should expect to play with other characters too. Each of them has unique abilities and skills. In most of the battles, parties are formed by three characters; however some of them will allow the players to create parties of four. The fourth character will be AI controlled. Even if the game is a turn-based RPG, the enemy and the player can move their characters during the same phase. However, when attacking the order is set by the actions performed.
