There are five stops along the way, all of which are gateways to picturesque hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Trains depart for the summit every 24 minutes, and ticket prices vary depending on how far you wish to go; a round-trip ticket for an adult is about 76 Sfr. The two facilities offering hotel services are the Riffelalp Resort at the Riffelalp stop and the Klum Hotel Gornergrat, located at the summit. The Klum Hotel features an open dining area for day travelers as well as a still-functional observatory, built to take advantage of the incredibly clear air. How To Get A Swiss Passport
The child to a mother and father who are married with either one being Swiss automatically makes the child Swiss too under Swiss nationality law. If a child is born to a Swiss mother who is not married the child will also get a Swiss passport unless the mother gained nationality through a previous marriage. With only the father being Swiss and the parents marry after birth of the child the child will obtain Swiss nationality as soon as the marriage has occurred.
Being born in Switzerland does not grant Swiss nationality, one needs a Swiss mother or at least one Swiss parent if the parents are married.
