Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Walkthrough - Fire in the Sky - Level 1 - A Perilous Ascent

After being dropped off outside this stage, head through the gate, and into the park. Watch out for a bunch of goons with bats, and a big guy chucking smaller enemies down from the top of the hill. After taking him out, listen to Bentley, then head along the snowy path, swinging from the hook to reach the higher level. Look out for another bear up ahead, then carefully cross a collapsing bridge, and sneak around a very narrow ledge.
Continue along the path, standing in place when the ice spikes plummet down from below. Back on solid ground, fight your way forward, across a more stable bridge, then set off some fireworks, and move on.
Sneak around another ledge, hiding from the glare of the searchlights above. Be patient here, moving only when it's safe. More fireworks await up above. Once the floor drops out, drop down through the opening, and move on. Watch out for guards with flashlights patrolling the area up ahead. You can use the top of the wall to hide while they're nearby, but be careful, as this is a precarious perch. Your new invisibility ability will also come in handy here. The key for this area is on the small platform at the far corner of this section. When you have it, return to the room you left a little while ago, and crack the safe there. When you've got everything, head for the glowing light, and into the next level.

Sly 3 Honor Among Thieves Walkthrough - Episode 5 - Battle on the High Seas

Here you'll be waging war on the enemy pirate ships patrolling the waves, beginning with the lone one that appears soon after the mission starts. Get to the cannons on the side the enemy ship is on, and fire a few broadsides into its deck. After a few such crushing blows, get alongside the other ship, and board her. You can control your ship, so take advantage of this fact, and get it close enough for you to jump to the other deck. Once there, you'll have to battle the ship's captain, wearing down his health meter with furious slashes. His goons are swarming all over the deck, but you should only attack them if you have to, keeping your attention on the main target. When you knock him out, you'll gain the charts you need.
In the next battle, you'll be up against three enemy ships at once. Try to hit two or even three of them at once, maximizing your efforts. Knock out each ship, and do your best to avoid their broadsides. Since you already have the charts, you don't have to raid these ships as you cripple them, but you can if you want. You'll run into a pack of four later on, but the basics of combat remain the same. Bash away at them with your broadside,s trying to line up as many of them at a time as you can. Again, you can raid the head ...

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Walkthrough - Sunset Snake Eyes - Level 4 - Murray's Big Gamble

Here you'll be assisting Murray, who's not quite as agile and fearless out of his van as he in inside it. You'll be stuck in one position here, watching Murray mince his way across the stage. Follow his progress, and use your sniper rifle to take out the enemies in his path before they can hit him. Murray will move left and right as he winds his way upward, so be sure to stay with him. Enemies will get thicker as this short stage progresses, so be ready to knock them down as quickly as they appear. Murray moves surprisingly fast for a big fat hippo, so you'll have to be quick too. Escort him all the way to the end, and he'll grab the key to the next level.

Sly 2 Band of Thieves Walkthrough - Episode 2 - Boardroom Brawl

Sneaking in through the sewers, Sly emerges in the basement of Rajan's den. Bentley will give you your mission: crawl under the tables in this room, not just to avoid the many guards, but also to find the combination for the vault you're planning on breaking into. The combo should be written on the underside of one of the tables, so crawl around, and sneak past the many patrolling guards, until you've found it. Once you have it, continue sneaking around, pick pocketing the guards if you like, taking them down with stealth moves when you can. Make your way to the laser grid blocking the doorway, and input the code to drop the lasers.
Head forward, hopping over the moving lasers on the floor, until you reach the control panel on the left of the safe. When you've hit that, you'll reconnect with the crew, and discuss the next phases of the operation. Use Murray to battle the many small guards who show up here, punching them, throwing them, and doing whatever else you need to do to keep Bentley safe as he hacks the machinery in here. He'll move around, so keep your eye on him, and keep fighting. This is a pretty huge, long battle, so be patient, and bash the guards for all you're worth. Once Bentley's finally finished, you'll be in position to launch the final operation of this episode.

Sly 2 Band of Thieves Walkthrough - Episode 4 - Close to Contessa

In order to free Murray, you'll have to steal some items from the Contessa herself, through your patented pick pocketing technique. First, though, you'll need to pick off the guards that swarm throughout the area, unless you want to take a smashing. They follow her very closely as she wanders throughout the city streets, and you need to lure them away from her by making noise, then run away before they catch you. Now sneak up behind them, and take them out with your stealth moves, one by one.
When both guards are gone, deal with Contessa herself. Sneak up behind her, just as you would a regular guard, and pick her pocket. She'll realize something's wrong, and quickly get out of the area, summoning more bodyguards to her side. Repeat the process you just went through, sneaking up and taking out each guard, then picking Contessa's pocket again. Once again, she'll summon more guards, forcing you to dispatch still more of these vultures. There are more guards this time, so don't stop taking them out until they're all down. Take them out however you can, and pick her pocket once more to get the last key you need to free Murray.

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Walkthrough - Fire in the Sky - Boss Battle - Flame Fu!

This world's boss, who was a martial arts panda before it was cool, has all kinds of dangerous attacks, which will summon jets of flame from thin air. He'll sometimes bring them straight up from the ground, sweep them around himself in a circle, or send them flying at you. Get to know each attack, and the best way to avoid it. Some he'll use when you're close, some when you're farther away, so take that into account. You'll need to do damage while you can, sprinting around to where it's safe, slashing at Fu, and getting away before you get hit. You seldom want to be in front of this guy, since this is where most of his attacks take place. He'll turn to follow you, but not as fast as you, so simply running him in circles will work pretty well. Just be careful not to run right in front of him. Watch out for his huge palm smash when you're in close like this. It covers a good distance, so be sure you're nowhere near it. Battle it out with Fu until he admits you're the superior warrior, and you'll grab the next chapter of the book.

Sly 3 Honor Among Thieves Walkthrough - Episode 1 - Hazard Room 1

Back in the simulator, you'll learn some more basic moves. These will all be extremely familiar to you if you've played any Sly before. Follow Bentley's prompts to run through this quick reminder lesson. Swing on the hooks, and climb up the pipe. Then use your cane to attach yourself to the points on the wall. On your second go around, practice pick pocketing the simulated enemy here, sneaking up behind him and using your cane to nab his gold. This is easier when the guards are stationary, but can be done while they're moving too. As Sly points out, just don't bump into him. Pick his pocket until he's picked clean. When Bentley has the guard attack, practice running for it, and hiding behind cover to throw off pursuit. Now sprint forward, to the waypoint straight ahead, and escape the two guards to either side. Next, you'll get the chance to practice your sneak attack. This is only useful if you can remain undetected long enough to get close. Now practice it with the two guards, taking out one, fleeing and hiding, then sneaking up on the other and dropping him in the same way. You can also use environmental elements, as Bentley explains. Head to the switch here, wait for the guard to walk into place, then drop the hammer on him to wrap up this tutorial.

Metal Gear Solid 4 Release Date

Kojima initially expressed disappointment in the final rendition of the game's graphics and his inability to realize his early vision due to restrictions of the PlayStation 3 in an EDGE Magazine interview. Kojima says, "But when we actually started developing the game, we realized there were a lot of restrictions and so it turned out how you see it today ... we wanted to create something revolutionary, but in reality we couldn't really do that because of the CPU. We're using the Cell engine to its limit, actually. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not criticising the PS3 machine, it's just that we weren't really aware of what the full-spec PS3 offered." Kojima has since stated he is satisfied with the end product.
