Van Morrison
Van Morrison is a successful singer-songwriter who began his career in the 1950s. Morrison has released 33 studio albums and 69 singles during his long stint as a musician and is still active in the music world. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003.
Van Morrison has been performing for many years and his first hit single was ‘’Brown Eyed Girl’’ in 1967. He wrote the song, which has been sung by many singers in a wide variety of musical genres. Shortly after recording that classic song, he recorded Moondance, which propelled him into stardom.
Van Morrison not only performs vocals, he also plays the play guitar/guitar, harmonica, a saxophone, the keyboard, drums, a tambourine, at times he has played the ukulele.
