Waterpark

A waterpark is an amusement park that provides water features such as slides, rides, water cannons, and wave pools. Some water parks have water rides that will take people around the park and drop the rider into the water. They can be located entirely inside, entirely outside or a combination of both.

In order to capitalize on the most possible tourist revenue, many sites have now implemented indoor water parks that will allow tourists to enjoy the water park year round. Cities worldwide have adopted this as a lucrative business to bring to their theme parks. Many of the states in the United States are bringing in new indoor water parks.http://www.indoorwaterparks.net/ New Mexico has just gotten their first indoor water park through the Radisson Hotel in Albuquerque. This Radisson Hotel water park has five pools and a double slide.

There is the Splish Splash Waterpark in New York that is 96 acres of water rides and water play areas. There is a water slide tunnel, just announced and it will have a 40-foot drop. There are also 360-degree spins in this ride. These water parks can be on the adventurous side. However, they can still be enjoyed by smaller children as they have included kiddie’s slides and a lagoon area for swimming. http://www.splishsplashlongisland.com/pages/rides.html

The same is true all over the world. Hotels, resorts, and cities have opened their own water park to bring in tourists and provide them with ...

How To Rent A Car

Part of the reservation process will include determining the size and style of vehicle you need. First, will it accommodate your luggage? Assess how many pieces of luggage you have, and be sure to select a car in which it will fit. Sub-compact cars have very little space for luggage and other cargo.http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/2009-subcompact-car-buying-guide.htm Compact cars are better about trunk space, but you may need to inquire. Upgrades to larger cars are almost always available with the larger companies, but it’s best to determine your needs before you arrive to pick up your car.

Another factor may be appearance and capability. If you are traveling on business and the car may be seen by associates, you may want to consider renting something that is a bit more upscale.http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/cars-trucks/rankings/Upscale-Midsize-Cars/ That will be your judgment call.

If you are traveling to a destination where you know you will encounter some challenging driving condition, you may want to consider a four-wheel drive vehicle, such as an SUV.

If you are traveling with a group, you may want to do a cost comparison with a vehicle that can seat many passengers, such as a van or minivan. The cost, when split among the group, may or may not be more cost effective, but it’s worth checking into.

An interesting consideration is, in addition to your luggage, do you need to make a stop to buy supplies? For instance, if your ...

How To Plan A Roadtrip

Packing well is essential to having a great time on a road trip.

  1. Bring the essentials — clothing, socks, shoes, underwear, toiletries. Remember that you will be in a car for most of this vacation, so pack accordingly.
  2. Create multiple playlists of songs to listen to on the road. Try to represent everyone's musical tastes. Don't depend on the radio to keep you entertained!http://www.dumblittleman.com/2009/07/how-to-plan-kick-butt-road-trip.html
  3. Know that you will get hungry and thirsty. Make sure to leave room for a cooler, and pack it will snacks and drinks. This will keep you from having to stop as often and allow for instant gratification in areas where stop options may be few.http://www.ehow.com/how_4887374_plan-a-roadtrip.html
  4. Pack some activities that you can do in the car. A trivia book is a great example!

How to Survive a Long Car Trip

A road trip is often a tightly scheduled event that takes you from point A to point B by the most direct route. Consider reconsidering this! Allow in your trip planning some time to be spontaneous with where and how you stop. Do not be completely rigid in your scheduling, as there will most assuredly be emergency bathroom stops that you will have to make.

Remember that road trips do not always go as planned. Things happen and you will most likely have to make unplanned stops along the way.http://www.wisebread.com/how-to-survive-a-road-trip Again, allow yourself time and money to do things outside of what you originally plan. Consider adding a little money to your trip budget because of this. You never know what you might run in to!http://www.wisebread.com/how-to-survive-a-road-trip

But do not swing too far in the spontaneous direction. Have some structure as to when you want to get to your final destination. Be ready to stop when needed by planning your trip accordingly. Be sure to use your GPS to keep you on track and to find new places along the way! You never know where you might end up along the way, so plan ahead.http://theresamacphail.wordpress.com/2007/06/02/how-to-survive-a-road-trip/
