Pet Sulcata Tortoise
What do Sulcata tortoises eat? Grass. In its native Saraha, the Sulcata nomadically roams in search of grass, which is critical to its health. "Timothy Hay" is a great substitute if fresh grass is not available. But your tortoise will also need a water source. In addition to the grass, fresh greens, vegetables and fruit may also be offered, but as a supplement. Possibilities include kale, mustard greens, mushrooms, strawberries, bananas, dark green lettuce, pieces of squash, etc. If the Sulcata has access to fresh grass, it will get the nutrients it needs from the grass plus little bits of soil for nutrients.
Romaine lettuce or watermelon on a hot day will prevent dehydration. If your tortoise appears to have "goggles" of moisture around its eyes, it needs water. A large very shallow container of water is also a great idea, especially when the weather is warm. Or a dousing from the hose, or turning on the sprinklers for a couple of minutes.
A Sulcata is not a pet to be kept in a container such as an aquarium tank. It will need plenty of room, especially as it grows into its seventh year or so. The more room your pet Sulcata Tortoise has to move, the healthier it will remain. It may also grow more quickly than a tortoise confined to a small space, because of the exercise.
Always provide warmth when the weather is below 65 degrees, and a constant shade source when the temperatures are over 75 ...

Boa Constrictor
What do Boa Constrictors eat? Boa Constrictors eat small mammals, primarily rodents. When you purchase your pet snake, ask what size rodent it is eating at the time. Young boa constrictors often eat fuzzy mice, and large adults may be fed 3 adult rats or a small rabbit.
It is important to give your new snake time to acclimate to its new surroundings before attempting to feed it. Wait at least two weeks, any earlier might cause undo stress on the reptile.
Start by offering your Boa one pre-killed week to ten day old frozen feeder rodent called a "fuzzy". A smaller sized baby Boa may need a "pinky" mouse or small mouse. Larger Boas can be feed large frozen feeder rodents, specifically rats. It's a good idea to get your pet snake used to eating pre-killed food. This prevents injury to your snake.
Offer food that is no wider then your snake. Foods larger then the snake will result in regurgitation.
Adults should be fed once every 2 to 3 weeks. Younger snakes should be fed once a week to encourage proper growth. Appropriate sized small mammals should be offered. http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&A=1256&S=4 Boa Constrictor

Pet Turtles
Pet Turtles, a popular choice of pet, are an ancient order of reptiles, species of which range greatly in size and habitat requirements. Most pet turtle types are small to medium sized, but all species of turtles can live for many years, and as such can be complicated pets to own.
One of the most popular pet turtles is the red eared slider. It is essential with these and all pet turtles that they have the proper habitat to prevent complications such as shell rot. You can purchase an entire turtle habitat at the pet store. But as your turtle grows larger, you may need to consider a well-equipped turtle tank or an outdoor pond such as a koi pond if you live in a temperate climate. This is important. If the pond water gets too cold, the turtle can get very ill and die.
Baby turtles may be contaminated with salmonella bacteria, which can lead to illness and death in small children, babies and adults with immune system deficiencies. To avoid the risk of coming into contact with this dangerous bacteria, always wash hands with soap and water after handling turtles. Due to the risk posed by baby turtles, it is illegal to sell turtles with shells less than four inches long.FDA: FDA Re-Emphasizes Warnings to Consumers on Risks of Pet Turtles

How to Buy a Pet Python
When you are looking for your new pet python, it is usually better to choose a python that was previously captive or is purchased from the actual owner of the snake. This way, your new pet will be already adjusted to handling by humans. A human handled python should be more tame and less excitable than a wild python snake. If you desire to purchase an adult python, it is a good idea to buy one that was previously owner owned. One advantage to this is that the python will be less costly because the owner is wanting to get rid of the snake.http://www.ehow.com/how_2306514_buy-python.html
Be sure to choose a seller that is trustworthy and that will possibly give you some form of guarantee. This way, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase or there is something wrong health wise with the python, you can get your money back.http://www.ehow.com/how_2306514_buy-python.html
If you are wanting to purchase a baby python, the ones available usually have been born in captivity. Usually these pythons come from breeders or individual hobbyists that have hatched the pythons and then resold them to a pet store. They are also sold at pet or reptile shows. This is probably the best way to support not only the reptile show or local pet store, but it is also considered to be more "eco-friendly." Baby pythons that are born in captivity have been shown to be less likely to ...

How to Care for Corn Snakes
A good habit to develop is to thoroughly clean the tank when you feed your snake. While your snake is "catching" its rodent and eating it, you can quickly and easily remove all the accessories (climbing stick, rock, dish, hide) and throw away the soiled bedding. Remove all the bedding, and thoroughly clean the tank. Paper towels and water will do the trick. Do not use chemicals. Replace the bedding with fresh clean substrate, clean the accessories if necessary, reassemble the tank with all the items and make sure the water is fresh and the dish full. By the time you are done, so is the snake. Look in the bag or tub. If the "bulge" is at least halfway down the snake, it's ready to return to the tank. If it is still working on the rodent, close the top and give it more time.
Spot clean by removing soiled bedding in between the major cleanings.
Once back in the tank, your snake will probably hide in its retreat while it digests.
