Jonathan Duhamel hails from Canada, and resides in Boucherville, Quebec. Before competing as a professional poker player, Duhamel held a job in a factory, packaging magazines before they went out for distribution. Filippo Candio
Candio broke into the professional ranks in late 2009 playing primarily in Europe. His first major finish came on the Italian Rounders Poker Tour in the 2009 championship when he placed 18th to win $1,191. Just over a month later he added another $10,759 to his winnings by coming in seconds at the PokerStars.com IPT in San Remo. Daniel Negreanu
Online poker site, PokerStars, sponsors a number of professional poker players, including Negreanu. Other members of "Team PokerStars" include Hevad Khan, Chad Brown, Gavin Griffin and Chris Moneymaker.
Negreanu will appear as one of the professional poker players on the Fox reality series PokerStars Big Game, along with Vanessa Rousso and others. The show features "Loose Cannon" players selected from online tournaments who will then compete against professional players.
In 2009, Negreanu posted a challenge for himself on the PokerStars blog. Starting with only a $10 stake, he claimed that he was attempting to earn $10,000.
