Joe Frank
"I came upon Joe Frank's work by accident a number of years ago while driving to my home in the Napa Valley late at night. I couldn't believe the originality and sheer brilliance of what I was hearing. From that moment on I became a dedicated Joe Frank fan. Joe Frank's shows raise the most interesting and enduring questions in new and original ways and are consistently thought-provoking and very funny. " — Francis Ford Coppola regarding radio personality Joe Frankhttp://www.joefrank.com/
"Each hour can contain a philosophical exploration, an intimate confession, an absurd comedy, a dark tragedy; all of which Frank takes to the farthest edge while bringing the listener along for the alternately emotional and/or enlightening ride." — Kevin Roderick in an article for LA Observed regarding radio personality Joe Frankhttp://www.laobserved.com/archive/2010/09/kcrw_brings_back_joe_fran.php

The Libation Bearers
Also known as Choephoroe or The Choephori
Set in Athens and the Temple at Delphi
Libations are water or wine poured for the gods during a religious ritual
Major theme uncertainty between right and wrong
First performed in 458 B.C.
Tragic play
Takes place about 20 years after the Trojan War
Uses light and dark imagery
Referenced by Euripides in his play Electra Play
Important Quotations:
They killed an honored man by cunning, so they die by cunning, caught in the same noose.
The gods know, and we call upon the gods; they know how we are spun in circles like seafarers, in what storms. But if we are to win, and our ship live, from one small seed could burgeon an enormous tree.
Oh curse upon our house, bitter antagonist, how far your eyes range. What was clean out of your way your archery brings down with a distant deadly shot to strip unhappy me of all I ever loved. Even Orestes now! He was so well advised to keep his foot clear of this swamp of death. But now set down as traitor the hope that was our healer once and made us look for a bright revel in our house.

Matthew Morrison
We all knew we were part of something great but we didn't know if we would find an audience. It's just been overwhelming.

I’m more fulfilled on Broadway. You have that three hours, and you’re telling a consecutive story, with no cuts to it, and you have to just kind of go. If you mess up, you have to figure out a way to get back on track, and at the end of the experience in the theater, you really share that with the audience.

Cloud 9
"God knows I do everything I can to make you stand on your own two feet. Just be yourself. You don't seem to realize how insulting it is to me that you can't get yourself together." — Martin
"You should always respect and love me, Edward, not for myself, I may not deserve it, but as I respected and loved my own father, because he was my father. Through our father we love our Queen and our God." — Clive
