Fruits and vegetables have been growing in the wild for many centuries. When people first began to eat fruit as food, they simply gathered their choices from the wild. For thousands of years, fruit was picked, gathered and eaten in this manner. About 11,000 years ago, people began to plant their own fruit to grow their own plants and use them as a part of their daily diet. The farmers experimented by mixing seeds and this produced new varieties of wild fruits to be enjoyed.http://www.kidcyber.com.au/topics/fruit&veg.htm
Many years ago, fruit that was found growing in one region of the world was taken by the early explorers and traders to other regions. It is believed that Christopher Columbus took pineapples from South America to Spain in the 1400s aboard his ship. These new fruits were planted and grown by the locals. Farmers Markets
While regulations vary from state to state, the most common requirement is that vendors grow or produce what they sell. This requirement is what brings many customers to the farmers markets - there are no middlemen and the products are sold at their peak of freshness.

Yogi Tea
Yogi Tea was borne of a tradition of tea drinking after a yoga class. Yogi Bhajan was a spiritualist who began to teach Kundalini yoga in the United States in 1969. He would serve a blend of spiced tea to his students after every class that included cardamom seed, cinnamon bark, black pepper, cloves , and ginger. His students coined the name "Yogi tea" for the mixture and went on to sell this tea concoction at restaurants, and later marketed it as a commercial tea blend in 1984. In the years since then many new herbal blends have been added to the Yogi Tea lineup, though it still maintains its tie to yoga and Eastern wisdom and philosophy.http://www.yogiproducts.com/our-story/about-us/
