Evernight Series: Stargazer

“Fans of Stephenie Meyer and P.C. Cast will enjoy Stargazer, the second book in Claudia Gray’s young adult series. The gothic vampire romance has a likable cast and Gray deftly portrays teenage angst in the heroine as she tells the story in first person.” Gail Pruszkowski- writer for Romantic Times BOOKreviewshttp://ezinearticles.com/?Stargazer---Evernight-Book-2-by-Claudia-Gray&id=2819832

Stephenie Meyer fans will find similar rewards in the flashes of humor; the terrifying battle between ancient, supernatural societies; and the steamy romance in which love bites aren’t just a euphemism.” Booklisthttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/product-description/0061284440/ref=dp_proddesc_0?ie=UTF8&n=283155&s=books

How to Publish a Novel: Point of View

After you have an established point of view, look it over carefully. Certain aspects of your novel might benefit from another perspective to add mystery or reveal specific truths about your story and its characters. This can be a tricky process and, if not done with careful attention, the novel may end up alienating the reader. Try to shift the point of view at what you might deem appropriate moments in the story - the aftermath of a sudden, major plot event, for instance, can warrant the use of a different perspective. The change needs to retain the rhythm the reader is used to while introducing a new way to look at the story.http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/understanding-point-of-view-in-literature.html

A Dance with Dragons

This books is waited with impatience by the large fan base that Martin has created. However, the delay in the publication has caused some irritation amongst the fans.

The author has been unable to finish the book in the set date in repeated occasions

Martin said in October 6 that the manuscript was 1100 pages and "considerably more in partials, fragments, and roughs"

How to Eat Fried Worms

  • "There's one thing to be said for How To Eat Fried Worms -- it gets kids to read. Its disgusting premise -- a bet about eating worms -- is so in tune with middle-grade humor that even kids who say they hate books will read it and recommend it to their friends." - Common Sense Media Review
  • "This was a very comical book that any boy or tomboy should enjoy. It would be a great tool in opening the door to discussing betting, even small bets, and the risks that it involves. It also deals with friends doing things that upset each other, and how to get past the issues that arise and continue being friends after the incident is over." - Elizabeth Fresse, Barnes & Noble Editorial Review
