How to Publish a Novel: Point of View

After you have an established point of view, look it over carefully. Certain aspects of your novel might benefit from another perspective to add mystery or reveal specific truths about your story and its characters. This can be a tricky process and, if not done with careful attention, the novel may end up alienating the reader. Try to shift the point of view at what you might deem appropriate moments in the story - the aftermath of a sudden, major plot event, for instance, can warrant the use of a different perspective. The change needs to retain the rhythm the reader is used to while introducing a new way to look at the story.http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/understanding-point-of-view-in-literature.html

John R. Llewellyn

John R. Llewellyn wrote the book Polygamy's Rape of Rachael Strong. He is considered an expert on Mormon fundamentalism and polygamy because of his extensive background in investigating sex crimes when he was a Sherriff's Lieutenant in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Llewellyn also wrote the books: Polygamy Under Attack, Murder of a Prophet and A Teenager's Tears.

During his career as a Sherriff's Lieutenant John R. Llewellyn wrote an intelligence report on mass murderer, Ervil LeBaron. LeBaron ordered the execution of Doctor Rulon C. Allred who was the leader of Utah's second largest polygamist group. Llewellyn's first book Murder of a Prophet was about the case.

While Llewellyn was a deputy he researched the Mormon doctrine which led to his conversion to Church of Latter Day Saints and Mormon fundamentalism. When he retired from his job he became a member of the Apostolic United Brethren. Llewellyn dissociated himself from AUB after the leadership of it was changed.

John R. Llewellyn became an investigator for Virginia Hill in 1995 in attempt to recover civil 1.54 million dollars that was stolen from her by the AUB.
