In April of 2010, it was announced that Baidu experienced a near doubling of its earnings in the first quarter of the fiscal year. This leap in profits is said to be a direct result of disagreements between the Chinese government and Google. Apple Third Quarter Earnings
Apple's third quarter earnings in 2009 marked a rise from their numbers in 2008. They reported a profit of $7.46 billion and a net quarterly revenue of $1.07 billion. These numbers went up a fair amount in 09. Their gross margin was 1.5% less during the third quarter of 2008 than it would be the following year.
