The American Mall
- "There is artistry in "Mall," but its aroma is often overwhelmed by the smell of commerce. Director Shawn Ku uses split screens (I counted 12 at one point), bright colors and exuberant dance to change the common mall into a teen wonderland of lights, drama and secret passages."—Hollywood Reporter
- "But despite its faults, The American Mall is much better than you'd initially expect. It's a little more grown up than High School Musical and its plot makes much more sense than Camp Rock did."—Montreal Gazette

Thriller Broadway
First aired in 1983, the video begins with DJ (Michael Jackson) and his girlfriend (Ola Ray) cruising in his convertible down an abandoned, dark road when it suddenly rolls to a stop. Declaring that he's out of gas, they decide to walk presumably to find a gas station. Jackson stops and proposes to his girlfriend who gleefully accepts. In a solemn tone, he declares that he "isn't like other guys" as the clouds move away from the full moon.
Squirming under the moonlight, Michael crumples to the ground and emerges with alarming werewolf features: fur, sharp teeth, long nails and yellow eyes. His girlfriend screams in panic and falls to the ground as he bends over her. The shot cuts away to a movie theater, where Jackson and his girlfriend are watching the scene in a movie theater where his girlfriend leaves in frustration.
With the music starting, Jackson calms his girlfriend down outside the theater. Then the famous dance sequence begins that made the music video, and Jackson, infamous in pop culture.
