Maltese Dog
Maltese dogs are generally not used for any sports, but are prominent show dogs. Most commonly they are used as household pets and casually referred to as lap dogs. They can live comfortably in smaller homes or apartments and only require a small amount of daily exercise.

Daisy, the Maltese-poodle dog owned by singer Jessica Simpson, went missing on September 14, 2009. Simpson posted a message on her Tiwtter page stating "My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping.
