How to Sell Books on eBay

Many books, particularly older books and self-published titles, don't have an ISBN. These books must be manually listed into the eBay sales template. To do this, type the word "book" into the box after going through the sell tab. Then, choose a category. This will give you a listing page where you enter a title, a description of the item and you have the option of listing a picture of the book.

The title of the listing should have the title of the book and the author's name in it, if possible. If the title is long, cut out the articles in the title and the author's name. The description should include the number of pages, the publisher, the year the book was published, and the condition of the book.

Antique books should include one photo of the cover and at least one interior picture to show the condition of the pages. Choose a price, at least one shipping method and price, and choose either the fixed-price or auction format. If the book is an antique, take a look at its price on eBay and elsewhere online before setting a price. The book may be worth far more than what you expected to get.
