Ratan Mandal
Eight bodies were found in a river in the city of Bihar in eastern India. Ratan Mandal was one of the bodies found afloat in the river, along with seven of his family members. The mass murder was orchestrated by Mandal's wife Kanchan Kumari. Director Clint Eastwood's 2008 movie Changeling is partly based on the story of the Wineville Chicken Murders. Angelina Jolie plays Christine Collins, a mother whose young son, Walter Collins (Gattlin Griffith), is kidnapped. When he returns home, she begins to suspect that the boy is not really her child. Paula Sladewski
The last person to see Paula Sladewski alive was her boyfriend Kevin Klym. Klym told police that Sladewski was "too drunk' while partying at the Club Space night-club in North Miami, and that the two argued loudly until he was asked to leave by bouncers. North Miami Detective Neal Cuevas said that Klym was last seen at the club at 7:00 a.m.
Klym then said the took a taxi back to the Fontainebleau Hotel. When she didn't return to the hotel, he filed a missing person's report. By the time the report was filed, a passer-by had already called police to report the burning trash bin. The burning body was found at 9:00 p.m. Sladewski's body was so badly charred that dental records had to be used to identify her. George Sodini was identified as the gunman who opened fire and killed three people in an LA Fitness gym in Pennsylvania on August 4, 2009. Amy Kucsmas
Amy Kucsmas was a 36-year-old mother of three who went missing from Mount Oliver, Pennsylvania. Her body was found bound with electrical tape and rolled in carpet on July 24, 2009.
She reportedly phoned her daughter on July 11, 2009, saying she would die that night. An unknown man could be heard screaming in the background.
