Steven Slater Jet Blue Flight Attendant
In an interview with KABC news in Los Angeles, Slater's mother, Diane Slater, defended her son. She said the passenger should be charged for "interfering with a crew member." Slater, a former flight attendant, said her son "had a very small meltdown." Given the circumstances, Diane Slater said she could "understand why he snapped, and I would have snapped too."http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local/ventura_county&id=7603441

JetBlue Coupons
JetBlue Airways does not distribute coupons in the traditional sense, and you won't find any printable coupons or codes. However, deals may be found on various travel sites on the Internet, as well as through JetBlue itself. Often, special reduced rates are offered for specific dates or destinations. Deals usually expire, and blackout dates and/or other restrictions usually apply.
The Jetblue website is often the best place to look first for deals, as ticket prices for flights booked directly through the company have been known to be cheaper than those purchased via third party travel sites, even those that are geared towards bargain travel. Still, if you are planning an entire vacation you may be able to find the best package (including lodging, car rental and even entertainment) on a site such as Expedia or Travelocity, and overall your tickets could end up costing less than if you book the flight separately.

Tiffany Livingston
The incident involving Tiffany Livingston marks the second high-profile incident involving JetBlue in as many months. In early-August of 2010, JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater was arrested after he got into a fight with a passenger as a plane was taxiing into the gate, hit the plane's emergency chute and slid out onto the tarmac, fleeing the scene.http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20013138-504083.html
Slater has since been let go by JetBlue airlines and charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and trespassing. CBS News reports that Slater "will undergo a mental evaluation that may qualify him for an alternative sentencing program" - meaning he might not spend time behind bars.http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20015741-504083.html
