Hajj

From the verse Al Imran, of the Holy Quran, the evidence that Hajj was made obligatory in 9AH was revealed. God commanded and prescribed the way of Hajj to prophet Abraham with his son Ishmael, who together built the Kabbah (house of God) on the same ground as it stand to this day, as said in the Quran through verse Al Hajj. The Hajj started by Abraham and his son was corrupted by people who turned to paganism and idolatry for many centuries continuing until the Prophet Muhammad's revelations from God began. After many struggles and resistances from people who had fallen out of the original beliefs since Abraham, the prophet Muhammad returned the Kabbah to its usual purpose which is, for people to come to it and perform acts of worship to the one God. Prophet Muhammad performed Hajj on 10 AH with thousands of people and from then on Hajj is being held annually by Muslims all over the world who wants to adhere to one of the forms of worship obligated by God, in the religion of Islam.

Eid Al Adha

During the day of Eid al Adha Muslims are perform the ‘qurbani’ (Sacrifice of domestic animal). It celebrates as a symbol of remembrance of sacrifice of Abraham (Ibrahim) in this day.

Abraham was having dream that he was sacrificing his beloved and only son Ishmael (Ismail). When he was continuously having this same dream, every night then he could realize that god showing this dream to give him the message to sacrifice his best asset, his son. He simply decided the very hard question to sacrifice his son because this was a duty to god.

In the way of spot of sacrifice they had choose, Satan appeared and tried to convince Ishmael moved away to avoid being sacrifice. But he did not and threw stone to the Satan. Now it is a duty of Hajj to throw to show the respect of Ishmael’s spirit and obeying to god.

When they reached their spot of sacrifice Abraham tied a black cloth around his eyes, so that he not got weakness to do sacrifice his son. Ishmael also his father to tie his hands and legs because he not wanted to make any impolite heating to his father during the death! Ishmael laid down on the land. When Abraham was sacrificing his son by cutting his son’s throat with knife, almighty Allah replaced Ishmael by a ship. Abraham unknowingly sacrificed a ship instead of his son, Ishmael. When he opened his eyes, his knew no bound to see the miracle ...
