Les Savy Fav
After playing shows up and down the East Coast, Les Savy Fav were signed to Sub Pop Records in 1997 and released their debut album, 3/5, that same year. Two more albums followed, The Cat and the Cobra and Go Forth before the band announced an extended hiatus in 2005.
Les Savy Fav returned in 2006 to begin recording their fourth album, Let's Stay Friends, and two years after their departure, the full lineup reunited at an All Tomorrow's Parties concert in England in May of 2007.

Conor Oberst
Conor Oberst is a singer-songwriter from Omaha, Nebraska that has been playing music live since he was a teenager. He and his brother started and run Saddle Creek Records, home to such bands as The Faint and Cursive. Oberst is best known for his band Bright Eyes, and is currently involved with Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band.
On June 15, 2009, it was announced that both Oberst and Mogis would be teaming up with M. Ward for a project under the name 'Monsters of Folk.' The trio will release an album under that name on September 22, 2009.http://strangeglue.com/news/oberstjamesward-team-up-for-album/10005164
