The first Oktoberfest was held to celebrate the royal marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen in Bavaria on October 12, 1810. The event was marked with horse races. Neuschwanstein Castle

The exterior of Neuschwanstein was inspired by the style of the old German knight’s castles. The most noticeable structure is the high tower, which stands 45 metres tall. Located behind the gate is the lower courtyard, which is connected to the upper courtyard via stairs.
